The Premium Home Teeth-Whitening Kit includes enough gel for up to 14 applications (one hour per day, over the course of up to 14 days). Do not exceed one hour per application. Do not exceed 14 consecutive days. You will only need less than 0.5mL in each tray. Results will vary.
Read ALL of the instructions prior to beginning.
PRIOR TO TREATMENT: Brush and floss your teeth. While looking at a mirror, hold the teeth shade guide up to your teeth and record your starting shade. You can check your current shade throughout the treatment to check on progress.
TRAY MOLDING PROCESS:
STEP 1: Bring pot of water to a boil, then remove from heat and wait one minute.
STEP 2: Hold one tray by the tab and dip it into the water up to the junction where the tab connects with the tray. Hold in the water for about 5 seconds or until the tray begins to wilt slightly (remove immediately if it starts wilting).
CAUTION: Keeping the tray submerged for too long will cause it to shrink, which may render it unusable.
STEP 3: Immediately insert the mouth tray under your upper teeth and bite down on it (don’t worry, it’s not hot), while at the same time pressing it against the front of your teeth with your fingers and the back of your teeth with your tongue. Let it set, and this upper tray should now be perfectly molded to your teeth. If it is not, put in water an additional time and repeat the process, making sure you bite down in the same place as before.
STEP 4: Repeat from Step 1 for the second tray.
***NOTE: You will only need to conduct the molding procedure the first time you use the trays since the shape is retained forever.
STEP 5: When you have finished molding both trays, cut the holding-tabs off.
***TIP: You can also cut the part of the mouth tray edge above where the indentations for your teeth are so that you get a better fit.
APPLYING THE TEETH-WHITENING GEL (CLEAR GEL):
STEP 1: Make sure that the trays are clean and dry before applying the whitening gel. Place a small bead of gel in each indentation
on the inner front surface of the tray, and spread it evenly in each indentation corresponding to a tooth leaving a thin layer of gel. Do
not put too much gel as this will cause it to go on your gums and could cause gum irritation. Each tray requires less than 0.5 mL of
whitening gel. Repeat with second tray. Recap the syringe for the next application until empty.
STEP 2: Insert whitening trays onto the respective teeth (the one molded for upper teeth should go onto the upper teeth and lower
tray on lower teeth). Set the tray firmly against the teeth. Use a tissue to wipe off any excess gel that has seeped over the brim of the tray onto the gums.
STEP 3: Wear the tray between 30–60 minutes, depending on your sensitivity level. Use once a day for 10–14 consecutive days. Do not exceed 1 hour per application.
STEP 4 (optional): Open the back of the LED light and remove the batteries and transparent plastic tab that is below the batteries.
Discard tab, re-insert batteries, and press the top button to turn light on. Once the gel has been applied to the tray and already in your mouth, place the light in your mouth by putting the light’s clear shield between the trays and the inside of your lips. Keep the light there during the application.
STEP 5: After completion of each whitening session, remove the tray and rinse off any remaining gel and let dry.
***TIP: During the entire length of your whitening treatment, you should avoid staining foods and beverages as much as possible. This includes (but is not limited to) coffee, tea, red wine, colas, red/dark sauces, and citrus beverages. If you must consume these, it is highly recommended to do so with a straw. Avoid smoking as much as possible.
APPLYING THE REMINERALIZING GEL (BLUE GEL):
Remineralizing gel is used to replenish essential minerals in the teeth and prevent or eliminate tooth sensitivity.
STEP 1: Ensure your trays are clean and dry. Place enough Remineralizing Gel into the inner front surface of the tray to cover your teeth entirely.
STEP 2: War the trays for 10 minutes.
STEP 4: Remove the trays and DO NOT rinse your mouth. Before storing your trays, clean trays with a toothbrush and let dry.
